Steven C. Barber filmmaker “Until they are home” the Battle of Tarawa, Find bullet casings, tanks, live bombs in the reef. Trying to recover remains. Stopped repatriating in 1948, but to 88,000 family members that’s not the case. Bring home about 100 people a year. “It’s not really about the dead, it’s about the living.” It’s a really patriotic mission. People wait in link for years to be part of JPAC “There’s a statute of limitations on death”

Video of Tamara & Cher:
"KAT KRAMER'S FILMS THAT CHANGE THE WORLD IN ASSOCIATION WITH SUNSET-GOWER STUDIOS AND NEWFILMMAKERS LA PRESENTS THE WORLD PREMIERE OF"ELEPHANTS AND MAN: A LITANY OF TRAGEDY."

...says Barber from Sundance, where he approaches passersby wearing a Mad Hatter hat covered with video screens of his doc about paraplegics' wheelchair race, Unbeaten, "a remarkable documentary of courage and inspiration,"

Steven "Carborundum" Barber is a heroic filmmaker who will go to any lengths for his socially conscious films that raise the profile of the disabled or trigger Congress to pass legislation to bring home men lost in WWII. His persistence and determination is what allows him to make films that change the world.

Keep an eye out for single release of "A Better Life". It's on the horizon, but the sun's in my eyes, so I can't tell just how close it is.
